In our ongoing campaign to uplift local communities through sustainable innovation, we are proud to highlight a recent joint project with our local government unit (LGU) of Trento, Agusan del Sur—a successful initiative aimed at helping farmers improve their productivity and embrace smart agriculture practices.
This collaborative effort marks a significant step forward in strengthening the agricultural sector. Through the project’s various components—including training programs, access to digital tools, and field demonstrations—the local government of Trento represented by Mayor Willian E. Calvez together with the municipal agriculture specialists recognized its value early on and played a vital role in its implementation.
Thanks to this strong partnership, local farmers can now look forward for the improved knowledge and tools that help them monitor crop health, manage resources more efficiently, and make data-driven decisions. These advancements not only increase yields but also promote sustainable practices that benefit both the environment and local livelihoods.
We are grateful to the LGU for their trust and support, and even more inspired by the enthusiasm and adaptability shown by the farmers themselves. Their willingness to innovate and learn has been the true driving force behind this project’s success.
